Chick spitting up water & lethargic?

Coccidiosis has an incubation period of five to seven days. If these chicks are only four days old, coccidiosis shouldn't be the issue.

It's more likely to be a slow to develop chick. But don't rule out the watery poop being an anomaly. I had a baby chick many years ago with watery poop from the time she was one day old until she died at age eight years. She was never sick a single day in her eight years of life, but she hardly ever had a solid poop.

Yeah I have a hen with gross poops that is otherwise healthy as well. It’s the lethargy that had me kinda concerned but the the gurgling of the water pushed me to make a post. It literally looks like the chick is gargling or something. I’d never seen that before. But she hasn’t worsened today and since there’s nothing obviously wrong I guess I just have to wait and see
