Chick Standing Cross-Legged and Can't Walk

I have a 2 1/2 week old chick (Easter Egg) in a brooder with chicken wire on the bottom for traction. Suddenly today it started to stand with its feet crossed over on another and lost all strength to walk. It has to hobble around to get any where and has started to not eat or drink well. I have put it in a seperate brooder and have been making it drink water. Does any one know what its problem could be and what I can do to fix it?

Can you hobble the legs together? Put "hobble" in the search box, and you should find some pictures. I don't know if your chick is too old or not, but it is worth a try.
