Chick started to hatch...

We had a quail chick start to hatch and then stopped. It poked it's beak out a few times in one spot and then stopped. That was yesterday. My husband thinks it died. Thoughts?

We are on day 20 and had 3 more hatch today. Only have 2 left. We have 10 total that have hatched.

I haven't hatched quail, but have hatched other poultry...and after 24 hours, I'd be a bit concerned if there wasn't progress following an external pip. At this point, I'd try to get a closer look (and if necessary, judiciously assist). This guide may be helpful.

Hello would anyone know if its normal for chicks to peck it way inside air sack on day 18 19 tomorrow it is a bantam Cross as I've never had bantams before
