Chick Starter/Grower -Bought Organic and it's Pellets! HELP!!!

Hello All,

Just bought some organic chick starter/grower and it is pellet shaped...the older starter I purchased was crumbles or smaller...anyone else have any experience with using pellet sized starter/grower? SHould I smush it up, throw it out? it was $17 for 20lbs. eek! TIA!

crush it up or grind it smaller,use a blender or some kinda food chopper to make it smaller...If you don't have any of those put the pellets in a bag or pillow case and smash it up with a hammer or hard object....
