Hmm. It's important to get enough protein into the more aggressive types(RIR for example).

Someone else will have a more educated opinion than me.

I think you can transition to something else too. Not layer feed!!! Find an all-flock feed that's fresh and maybe about 18% to 20% protein, and try that.
