Chick Stick

Has anyone given this to their chicks as a treat? Directions say can feed at 2 weeks of age. And wondering if I will need to supply grit

I would hold off on that. A great "treat" for chickens is their regular feed, wetted into a mash. You don't have to worry about shortchanging them on their nutrition, either. I usually put a bit of that in my palm, and let them eat it out of my hand. It's like getting tapped with a bunch of dull pencils.

That is why I asked… I will hold off. I make a point of hand feeding 2-3 times a day. it helps to make up for my obsessive twice a day butt check.
