The rest of the she is stuck to him. There is one piece stuck to his head and the other large piece is stuck to his bum.

He/she are still in the bator with 3 other chicks.

What should I do with that chick. He/she hatched about 4:00 AM this morning.

Here is a pic, hope you can see. What should I do? Wait to see if it comes off? I could take off what is stuck on the head, but I am afraid to try the part stuck to the bum.

The piece of egg shell is off his head, but how do I get it off his bum? He is walking pretty good, but not drying too well. Just worried

I would leave it go for now. The shell may be attached to it's umbilical cord and if you try to pull off it you could injure or kill the chick. You don't want to open the bator right now anyway as you still have others waiting to hatch.

Okay that is what I was thinking, it might still be attached some how.

I have had to open it to get out other chicks, but mainly the top glass, just pop them out and then back in. We have a few more that have started moving, so hoping for the best.

Thanks again. I will just leave him in there and see what happens, he is still wet anyway.

He is out of the egg now, It was just hanging on to his feathers with dried up membrane. He is in the bator dring off and he is cheeping like crazy because he is the ONLY one in there, but all his cheeping is causing another egg to zip.

Think we will call him/her squealer.

Thanks for all the advice
