Ok, so you helped get the shell off? I would definately recommend a warm moist hand towel (paper towels dry out faster and I think this may be awhile still). Make sure to cover as much as you can without covering the nostrils. Than leave it be. It is only day 21 so the membrane most likely is still transporting blood and the yolk not absorbed. Wait at least until tonight (preferably tomorrow) before going any further. I know it is really hard. Try and distract yourself with other things. If baby still can't get out on its own than take clean non sharp tweezers and slowly free the membrane off the chick. If there is blood, stop immediately and rewrap with the warm moist towel and put back in the bator. Leave for several more hours so blood can retract out of the vesels and disconnect from the chick.
