Thank you! I started to help her and it looked like there was an unabsorbed yolk or something. So I waited a few more hours and helped her at 4 am. She is now resting and sleeping and I give her a little save a chick in water every once in a while.sry to see it is struggling or that nobody has replied yet. So by now it should have come out, I do hope you decided to assist as it did hatch the wrong end so was cramped and probably couldn't turn around completely.

It takes a couple of days for them to get their legs under them. Wait until day 3. I leave them in the incubator for 2 days. (Most people leave them in for 3 days.) she is very wobbly on her legs. Is this normal? I haven’t ever raised chicks from an egg. I have only gotten them after they are a few days old. (I’m wonder if it is a minor case of splayed leg.)
