Chick suddenly has swollen mouth and can't eat

Hello i'm wondering if anyone recognizes what could possibly be the cause of this. This baby chick was fine yesterday morning and when my mother in law went back to check on it later in the afternoon, she noticed it's mouth was severely swollen. It can barely eat or drink. Please help. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
