chick that got eye pecked out what to do?

I've got a chick about 1 month old this morning when i came out to feed the chickens we noticed he was just laying on the ground we thought he was no longer alive but he then got up we noticed his eye was really bad and that it had dried blood all around to his beak also noticed his mother had feathers on her beak my question is what we can do to poor fellow if anything we did rinse out his eye and cleaned out most of the blood with warm water and a q tip also noticed he had poop stuck on his but that was removed please help

Is the eye gone?
Eye type Neosporin would be a good idea.

I'm not sure if it's gone can't really tell it's puffy and shut I'll do neosporin thank you for the fast response

If you think at all that his mother pecked his eye- don't put him back with her. Fix up a brooder for him and raise him yourself.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but our little friend didn't make it may he rest in peace :-(
