Chick that is constantly pecking

One of my silkies it is the one that is shaking her head all the time is also constantly pecking at the side of the border. Is this normal?

Is the side of your brooder reflective? I've noticed chicks will peck at their reflections. I had one quail do it neurotically, and I had to cover the wall to get her to chill out.

Kind of. You can see them in it. I never even thought of that being the reason. Thank you
