Hello everyone,
I have two hens that were broody together and then another that was on her own. The day that the single hen started hatching her chicks so did the other two. The single hen hatched three out of 11 eggs and the other two hatched two chicks out of 15 eggs so i put the two chicks in with the single hen and made a little run for them so they are happy but the other two hens want chicks and they keep stealing them from the other hen. They dig and then they make a little hole and call out the babies so i chase them around the yard till i catch the chick and put it in with its mama and 4 siblings and it keeps happening!!
I tried putting the other two hens on fertile eggs but they dont want to sit anymore, what should i do?? I cant give them just one because i dont have enough room to make another run and they cant be free because we have crows that eat the chicks. Thanks in advance!!
