Chick vaccinating question

I am about to vaccinate a number of chicks for fowlpox, and I was wondering whether or not I should aim for the veins in the web of the wing.

Avoid the veins. Just poke through the skin of the wing web area and make sure the vaccine gets under it. It kinda looks like it's spreading under the skin through the two poke holes. I wiggled the applicator tool to make sure the vaccine worked it's way under the skin.
