Chick w. a Sore

Hello,

Out of 8 chicks, if one has a sore, sort of like a red bump on its lower back, what does that mean? Will the chick strive normally?
Currently, its not been able to stand. Hatched out about 6 hours ago...

Any suggestions?

Just hatched chicks can have odd bumps and what not. I wouldn't worry till about day 2/3 as most those odd fluid filled bubbles/bumps and so on disapear by then.

* Might be the feather oil gland on her back. . . First time I saw one I thought it was a hideous parasite of some sort. . . .

I dunno how to attach pictures here, but its basically

A small red bump, pea sized red right above the feather gland, right just below the middle back and right in the center. Its a pea sized oval "red ring" and the center is the skin; a little abscess.

Hummm...not to worry?

Update:

The chick is doing better, but its obviously smaller than the rest, and doesn't walk too well.
