chick warts?

Looking at my chicks this am found this on one. It is one that hatched about 9 days ago and none of the the others have it. It is on its upper leg. ????What is this??

Might be fowl pox. I'm dealing with it, I think right now, but min looks a little different. Google it. I took her to the vet on Tuesday and vet says she thinks it's pox. Gave me antibiotics to help any underlying infections. Good luck!

I can't say that I have seen anything like that. Could it be some kind of insect larvae? It doesn't look like lice eggs, but that is another possibility to look at. Please let us know what you find out.

Last time I saw something like that it was blue bottle larvae. Does it brush off? If so I'd think insect larvae and if not I'm clueless.
