3-D printing

What can I 3D print for my chickens?
This isn’t much but I found a small wall mounted feeder that I got my dad to print. I’m using it for bantams and it’s working well.

Alright, I am all better now. I won’t say what happened. it’s medically complicated.

Anyway, the new extruder came. I tested it by printing some stuff for martial arts practice as well as my Halloween costume this year.

Yes, I still dress up for Halloween. Halloween is very big in my city. Even the grown-ups dress up.

Here’s some pictures. Obviously the jo and the bokken are wood. Everything else is 3-D printed.

Practice Wakizashi.

I actually found a way to print these so that they are VERY durable and able to withstand hard blows, even though one is made out of PLA and the other is made out of PETG.

Originally I printed them vertically, but it broke too easily because it split where the layers joined. I had an idea inspired by woodgrain to print them horizontally, thinking it would be sturdier and be able to withstand hard blows. As insurance, I made them at 100% infill.

To my surprise, I can’t break these no matter how hard I hit them against the real wooden practice bokken and jo.

Well, that’s what I have been printing lately.
