Well, it may have broke, but where it broke is actually a good sign. In the past, when I tried to connect two or more pieces together for a practice weapon, it would always break at the joint where I connected them. This time, it broke up on the blade, nowhere near the joint that I reinforced with wood. That means I can make multiple piece practice weapons as long as I reinforce them with a wood dowel.
Now I just need to get enough filament then print it at 100% infill. It’ll take about 12 hours per part to print.
I need to redesign the blade anyway.

Practice Nagamaki. Printed in 2 parts, with an oak dowel going through the center, and a hilt made of the handyman’s secret weapon, duct tape.
It won’t break so far.
