Chick will not stand/walk

Poor thing.
I may be slipped tendon or it could be Mycoplasma Synoviae since it's symmetrical.

I'm very sorry, but after 5 days, personally I would cull the chick and put it out of it's misery. Not being harsh, just realistic. If the issue hasn't been corrected by now, then very likely it never will.
I would agree but have a hard time telling that to my wife. She’s been feeding the chick electrolyte water with crushed up chick starter from a syringe all week.

Any thing we can try just for the off chance it can be saved?

Can she stand on her own at all?

The only thing I would know to try it treating for infection. The joints look to be infected. Tylosin/Tylan could be used to see if it helps any. Tylosin can be found online. Depending on where you live Tylan50 might be found at feed stores like TSC.

Joints could be soaked in a mild diluted Chlorhexidine solution daily or in a pinch epsom salts solution. Using a spray like Vetericyn may be better to apply to the legs instead rubbing with triple antibiotic ointment.

The problem is, it looks like the joints are oozing and crusting over, so they will be hard to heal. I would not wrap the legs.

I absolutely do understand. I get attached as well, it makes it even harder when you have given love and attention to one, they become very special.

Thank you both again for the help.

Unfortunately sometime between me checking at 10 and midnight it passed.

Now a few more fitful hours of sleep for me waiting for my wife to wake up.
I have 2 very similar situations with baby chicks only a day old...I'm getting very little info from emergency post. I can't tell if the lil babies are suffering and I'd rather them go on and pass than me to have to make the decision.
I had 2 born last night at 12:30 and they died by 5am...this has been a difficult hatch!
Did yall have any other chicks with similar leg problems like this one that passed?

I'm so sorry!
