Chick with bloody protrusion

This is our first batch of chicks, so we need your help.

We've had these chicks for less than 24 hours, but as we were cleaning pasty poop, this little one started bleeding. We're not sure what's wrong with her or how to treat her. She seems to be acting fine - eating and drinking and cavorting with the other chicks. Any ideas?

It looks like where the umbilicus was attached to her just hasnt completely dried up yet.

I had one like that too.

I just made sure that it was clean and that none of the other chicks picked at it. Yours looks small enough that I dont think her brooder mates will see it.
