One of my Leghorn chicks is injured really badly. I think she jumped/flew/fell off of one of the higher roosts in the coop and broke her leg. She's lying on the floor not moving and peeping, and when I tried to pick her up I saw her leg was bent backwards and bleeding.
I know I need to cull her... it's so hard though.
Poor little thing.
Should I move the rest of them out of the coop for now? Is this just a freak accident or a sign they're not ready for the coop? I'd hate for this to happen to another one.
