Chick with Broken Leg

Today, my hen steped on one of her chicks and hurt it's leg. It cant move the one leg, and can walk but not much.

What can I do? The chick is 2-3 days old. The chick is peeping, and can eat and drink fine.

Are you sure it is broken? Does it bear weight on it at all? Do you see a break? If you would like, you can take some vet wrap (you can get that at a vet or some feed stores) and wrap this around the leg. Just loosely wrap it. If you think it needs splinting, you can take a popsicle stick and wrap that in vet wrap for cushioning and then place that under some vet wrap on the let. It may just be badly sprained or pulled and with time be ok. Sorry you are having this problem and good luck. Keep us posted.
