Chick with chipmunk stripes - what breed?

Does anyone know what breed this might be? I can post additional pictures if necessary. This one was in a box with "mixed chicks". If anyone knows characteristics I could look for in this breed to tell it's gender, that would be interesting to know.

I'm looking at that cute little puffy face, and it makes me think it's an EE. It's got lighter colored legs than my EE babies have had, but with the chipmunk stripes and puffy cheeks... that's my guess.

Agree, puffy cheeks, white skin. EE or Ameraucana.

The first thing you will watch for to tell its gender in a few weeks is comb development. By a month old, if it's starting to turn pink, you can almost guarantee it's a boy. My little EE cockerel is probably 10 weeks, and I've known he was a boy since before he was a month old, just by his comb.

Rooster. That is a EE or Welsummer.

Yes, it's a bouncing baby boy! Not a welsummer, but now I'm not so sure on the EE thing either... he's definitely worth watching as he grows! Cute boy!

That is a very upright tail isn't it.... I was going to guess EE too because he looked a little like one of mine on the younger pics.... But that tail looks pretty perky compared to all of my Ee's tails at the same age. Single comb and white legs too. That seems like too many variations on the usual Ee theme. But then, I am a newbie to Ees, so who knows.
