Chick with curled toes?

One of my chicks had curled toes twice as bad as that and I taped them open for a couple if days and her feet got 100% better. She's a month old now and has not one curled toe

I had them taped for a week and while they are still curled they are not as bad. I'll see if I can get a pic.

Just had a guinea keet born four days ago. It hobbles. The feet have good color but seem dead like it can't stand on its feet. Would taping and splint help in this case?

I had it wrapped for a week and then unwrapped for one day and this is what it looks like now:



Not much improvement. Should I try to wrap them again?

It might. I'm still not sure how much this has helped our little one!

Yes, I would wrap them again. The worse the curled toes are the longer they can take to straighten out. Poor little thing!

No, not really. These were really severe. This one ended up being a rooster and was picked on unmercifully. We ended up processing him (had 6 roosters in that batch of chicks).
