Chick with deformed leg??

Hi All,
I have a chick that hatched yesterday and she had an extremely hard time hatching. I had to talk her out of the egg. I noticed today that one of her legs and the toes are not right. No wonder she had such a hard time. The leg does not want to work properly. It is hard to see in the photo but the toes are collapsing and the leg is cocked outward. How can I fix this for her?

I'm sorry about your little one.

The outward turning of the leg may be a leg bone deformity, it's hard to know if it can be fixed or not. Try to feel the joint to see if the tendon is possibly slipped (compare to the other leg).

I would also give this baby B-Complex daily for a week. 1/4 tablet per day.
