This little guy is the only one that developed out of the eggs I gotten. Hes a Indio. Any way, he hatched out yesterday morning (sat April 30th). He had a small round what looked to be yoke sack still attached to his belly. I left him alone and let him stay in the bater. This morning it has gotten worse looks like!.. Is this yoke coming out?? or is it his organs :(... I feel like I'm going to have to cull him :(....

I am sorry your chick hatched like that.

I have not see a chick with that big of a belly contents hang out make it past day 5
I recently helped a chick on day 22 hatch (day 22 is a good day to start to help.) Her navel area was as big as a pencil eraser. I wasn't expecting her to live. But I gave her egg yolk water to drink and kept her upright, I also didn't put her in the brooder with chicks her own age, but near by with a screen to divide them. One week later I hatched out younger chicks. By then she was walking and only their size. She is about 3 weeks now and feisty. She is the black chick to the lower left. (She is about 2 weeks in this pic, the others are less than a week. Or around a week.)
