chick with eye problem

Our ordered salmon fav. chick has had an eye problem from hatching and we're not sure how to help it. It looked wet on the eye and around the eye. It doesn't seem to bother her and she's alert, fully capable of functioning, but it looks bad and we don't want it to get worse. She's now almost 3 weeks and it looks like the attached photo (though she was sort of sleepy in this shot).

Any ideas?

Have you tried looking around the edges to see if anything is stuck?

Sorry for the late reply. How is the chick doing?
Perhaps its some sort of reaction to something, or draining infection?
Maybe trying holding a warm wash cloth against it once a day to see if that helps at all?

It's the same. We'll see if we can do the warm washcloth thing with her. Thanks for the suggestion.

That is so odd. Please feel free to keep updating on how she is doing and if it works. If not, ill try and think of something else you can try.
