Hello, I have a 1.5 months old male white sultan chick who I've always suspected to have some kind of foot deformity related to his extra toes and slight limp. Today while holding him I noticed that the side of his one foot has a slightly redder, firm-ish flesh mass, where the foot feathers grow out of. When I touch or put pressure on it he does not mind at all, and is just as active and healthy looking as the other chicks, running around and dust bathing.
He's always had a slight limp on that leg even before the swollen flesh, which I assumed was due to his extra toes that grew inwards overlapping his other toes that made his balance more unstable. When he runs around he almost hops a little bit, which is kind of cute.

Here are the pictures identifying the things I mentioned:
The extra toes that curve inward/overlap on one foot, also the foot he has slight balance issues on

Could it be related to his foot "deformity"? Or possibly swollen due to infected shafts or some kind of abscess?

that look bad i not think he be fix! he deformed can he walk? i not bred this chick he not got good breading:(

The lump or tumor that you’re seeing, is it hard? Squishy? Any discharge or pus from the area? It could be an extra part of the foot considering that he already has an abnormal amount of toes. It almost also looks like a skin tag on his foot as well.

It feels firm, almost more like a callus than a liquid filled sac, and I did not see any abnormal liquid around his foot.. All of his foot feathers are growing out of that flesh chunk and bent under his foot when he walks, while the other foot's feathers fan out towards the ground normally. He only seems to not like it when I try to move the feathers on the weird foot, but they seem to be permanently bent under? Maybe the growth direction could be related?

Here is a video of him walking around, he hops a little bit but has no walking troubles

Just found out that on his deformed foot he is unable to fully bend his pinky toe, and it also curves outward
