Chick with HUGE feathers on feet!

Hi. I have a Silver Laced Cochin chick that has HUGE feathers on her feet! I have raised many chicks (including Cochins) and have never seen feathers this big! Will she grow into them or will they grow as she does? By the way, I also kind of like her BIG feathers I will post some links to the pictures of her feathers. She is a month old today.

Edit: Oh I have the same feeder and water! The older chicks like roosting on it

Thanks! And, oh, yes! They LOVE roosting on their feeder! One day I took a peek at them when they were in their smaller brooder, and to my surprise, I saw a pair of beady little eyes staring back up at me! Lol

I have three cochins who have large foot feathers like that. Here's two of the best pictures I have of them, even if I forgot to turn the flash off for the blue's. They were two weeks old at the time. They're even longer now, but the only recent pictures I have are of them in the grass. I'll include them anyway.





Here's a more recent one. They're just over a month old now. They're out in the grass, but you can still see the thick, long feathers on the blue and the black standing behind him with the silkie (assumption is it is a 'him' with that comb!

).



Edit: I noticed half my sentence disappeared. Fixed it.

I just had a little chick hatch with the feathered feet/leg gene from her/his daddy, too cute

along with their little fuzzy butts. Considering my roo is a RIR/EE I don't know where the feathers came from but

I love it.
