Hey everyone found this little guy struggling to catch up with its mum and realized it had a limp. I can't see any cuts and he limps around on it... What should I do?

It could indeed be dietary, it could also be a broken bone or a torn tendon, but I recommend that whatever it is, you do a little research into chick booties/shoes and find or make one that fits. Does it open its foot while taking a step? If it's left that way it will end up stuck that way. Best wishes.

Hey guys
I haunt been able to access the internet recently but I have added Vits to the water and separated the chick, I have trialled a little splint tape but the mother keeps pulling it off! so I am thinking of separating them for a while and splinting again, the chick seems pretty happy but I'm sure it must be in pain i suspect he got trampled as he is very tiny and his mother is not very good.

Yeah I just saw an awesome one on the chicken-chicks website made with pipe cleaners and tape with a little card like a sandle really cool! he is doing really well considering he's a funny little guy but wriggly so i think i will have to make a little sling to hold him in while i attach it...

It can sometimes take two people for stuff like this: one to hold the chick still and the other to do the modifications.
