I have 5 EE's and two of the girls hold their wings loosely like that. They are just about 5 weeks now and they still do it. They fly just fine when we go outside to the little pen for their afternoon outing, so I'm thinking she'll be fine when she grows on up. The wings just got real big, real fast.

She does look hunched up and odd, but if she's healthy and active then I gues she's fine.

So far, she is still running around and happy. Maybe she likes her privacy when drinking?

If there's Sebright in her background, that's your answer. Sebrights carry their wings low like that.

Interesting chick! It's good to hear that the chick is chipper. I'm wondering if what you're seeing is one of those odd-ball genetic anomalies, skeletal being one of the more common, that poultry (& other creatures) turn up with now & then. Having said that, perhaps it's nothing at all, and the chick will grow out of those serious Concord wings! Anyhow, it looks as if it's living the good life with you! Please keep us posted on its progress.
