This is my first time owning chickens, and of course, we had to end up with a chick with severe crossed beak. Her name is Poppi and she is a 3 week old easter egger and she is a little smaller than the rest of the flock. She is also SUPER noisy and adorable! Since we have been feeding her specially made food consisting of chicken feed, yogurt and a little water, she has grown new feathers, but she hasn't gotten that much bigger. I'm really worried she isn't eating/drinking enough. We have tried to feed her food using a clean paintbrush which seems to work, but we try to get her to peck at the food and she doesn't. I've noticed that when I go and get her for her feeding time, she is either next to the food bowl or she's laying down facing the corner. I'm really worried that the other chicks have rejected her from the flock, and that they are bullying her. We really care about Poppi and we don't want her to be put down, or have her go to another home. How can we keep her alive and well while having her not being rejected by the others? Help please!
