I just realized I repeated myself...not sure about whether to bandage or not on that..now I have to go look at one of my chicks to assess their physiology and whether gauze would work!
Hope she pulls the. It doesn't look nearly as bad as Peanuts injury. They amaze with how they heal!

Thanks Bawk2theFuture for that info, that was very helpful and so sorry about the coop fire. We had awful coon dogs two doors down and they would come to our property and take our chickens. We lost my favorite chicken that way.
