chick with splay leg

One of the chicks that hatched night before lat has splay leg. I put a band aid on it but I don't see how that is supposed to help. It just made the leg stiff and stick out more.
How do I fix this?

It's good you asked because they can learn to hold their leg or foot the wrong way, and then there is no way to correct it later.
