Chick with stiff, swollen toe

Have a month old chick with an inflamed, swollen, and stiff toe. She is outside with her broody mom. No sore on the foot, so I doubt bumblefoot. Anyone see this before? I don't want to poke holes looking for pus in a tiny chick... Do you guys think I need to???

it may be fractured from some injury or maybe sprained if so let heal on it self

The toe looks swollen and red, and there could be a dark spot underneath the dirt. It looks like foot pad dermatitis or possible bumblefoot. Try some epsom salt warm soaks to the foot daily. If you see a dark spot, I would go ahead and try to remove it, and get the pus out.
