Chicked pipped then died .Odd ?

The chick pipped twice making a half an inch whole then it turned its body all the way around to the other side and seems to have suffacated in the membrane . When i removed the egg its beak was pressed into the mebrane with its beak open .

Did it die of suffacation ?

what had you have the humidty at for days 1-18? then 18-21?

It happens unfortunately. I have had them pip and try to zip and sometimes just can't seem to figure it out....I usually end up just popping the top off, but only because I had one suffocate before. Sometimes there is a reason, one of the araucana I did it for died a few days later, something was wrong with it, no idea what though
