i have an older ameraucana (about 5-7 years) with a very strange crop. it hangs very low and is very full. she is very thin and i think its because she cannot digest properly. today i found her hunched up and sleepy. i have massaged her crop about 5 times today, each massage was about 5 minutes long (its currently 3 pm). i put her in a crate when i found her and she hasnt pooped once. i gave her a little bit of apple cider vinegar down her throat and in her water (but shes not drinking) and a singular egg yolk as well as a small scoop of plain greek yogurt. she hasnt touched either. im not sure what i can do. i believe its sour crop because her crop is very squishy and her breath stinks. ive done everything i could think to do besides inducing vomiting. i dont trust myself doing that, i dont want to harm her . any help is appreciated

If her breath smells bad, then likely you are dealing with Sour Crop. The crop hanging low, it's become pendulous. You may need to place a bra on her while you address the Sour Crop.

Instructions for treatment, including making and using a crop bra are in both the articles below.

thanks for the help. ive already tried everything. i dont know what to do to get it moving. shes drinking lots of water and easily regurgitates it. ive massaged countless times, given her yeast fighting medicine, dropped vinegar down her throat. im really at a loss.
