I am new to the chicken world and a couple of my chickens look like they are choking or yawning, and I think after researching maybe they might have gave worm. I went out and bought some safeguard oral solution or suspension, and I'm not really sure how to give it to the chickens. If someone could walk me through it or know of a better suggestion.

I would check their crops to see if they are empty, full, soft, hard, or puffy like a balloon. The crops should be full in the evening, but mostly empty by morning. If not there may be a problem. Chickens will gape or adjust their crops sometimes, especially in hot weather. Make sure they are taking plenty of cool water. Gapeworm is pretty rare, but most chickens with gapes cannot eat or drink due to the difficulty in breathing. Fenbendazole can be given for gapeworm at 1/4 ml per pound of weight for at least 3 days in a row.
