I have a white leghorn who lives inside and today I noticed she had a lot of poop on her butt so I read you can bathe and blow dry chickens but after I bathed and dried her she's acting weird and tired/lethargic. Is she okay? I currently have her outside in the sun to warm up but im extremely worried.

What did you bath her with ?

Poop on their butt is actually quite normal, there was no need to bath your chicken

Have a close look to see if she may have had any maggots on her bottom, or any evidence of prolapse. Flystrike is very common in summer months, and flies may lay maggot larvae on a wound or poopy bottom. Give her sips of water with electrolytes or a few drops of Poultry NutriDrench. Bathing in warm is usually okay, but in a very weak chicken sick with an unkown illness, might push them over the edge. I would bring her inside, and use a hair dryer away from her to warm the air and try to fluff her feathers. Make sure she doesn’t get too hot, though.
