Chicken acting weird

I have a pullet that I separated from its flock. It didn't seem to want to eat as much as all the others and today its grunting and squatting and has a pasty butt. I checked her for an egg, but I didnt feel one. Is she egg bound or constipated?

Sounds like she is egg bound. Try again feeling for an egg. Also try giving her a warm bath and massaging downward.

I checked her today and it looks like she has a prolapsed vent. Is there anything that I can do to help the chicken?

Bath her and try to push it back in. Preparation H on her vent works really well.

Also if you do not have Prep-H you can apply honey - try to keep her in a darkened place where she will not so easily strain and she can relax. You may have to make a few attempts at getting her prolapse back in place - she will likely push against your efforts to realign her.
