chicken air condition (frozen pop bottles)

this is a cheap way to cool down your flock it works for us. I use to keep 2 liter pop bottles frozen for my rabbits when it was hot out side they would lay next to them to cool off. now i keep the bottles for the chickens i will lay them on the floor about 6 for 18 birds they will peck at the bottles but they seam to stay close to them, we also have a fan blowing on them seames to help air cool the air also. hope it works for your flock

I do this as well for the rabbits some of mine like it others look at the bottle like "what the heck is that thing". I'd never thought of using them for chickens but thats a good idea! Thanks for sharing
