Chicken all of a sudden acts blind, sneaking around, head jerking

Chickens can get coccidiosis again if they are exposed to enough of the oocysts, but usually most with good immune systems eventually build up a tolerance for the coccidia in the soil and in their droppings. Mareks might be something to look for since it can cause poor immunity and low white blood cell count. Chopped almonds and sunflower seeds are very high in E, and salmon is good as well.

I was able to get more Amprolium from the vet, so i am treating my whole flock again.

I don't think there is Mareks, autopsy never revealed any viruses. The flock has had alot of issues but thankfully no viruses!

I have been trying to feed her chopped almonds/avocado. Problem is her little pal gets to the food first and either spills it or eats it. This poor splash hen eats by just pecking at 'thin air' until she finds food. Pretty sad, her head is still moving even tho I made a thin avocado puree that I was able to feed her by syringe. She has not improved yet, but seems happy otherwise.

Can you separate the hen into her own cage with her own food/water?
I would finish the treatment of Amprolium if that's what the vet has suggested, but I would add 400IU Vitamin E daily. Just pop a gel cap into her beak, she should swallow that.

Hopefully with her getting to eat and some vitamins she will improve.

I would agree to either separate her for feedings, or just schedule 2-3 feedings a day, morning and late afternoon so that she can fill her crop. Add a lot of water to her chicken feed to make it wet, add a spoonful of plain yogurt, and some scrambled chopped egg—just a little so it doesn’t get wasted or go bad. Hold a small cereal bowl or scoop up to her beak so she can smell and feel the food and water.

Where can I get 400IU Vitamin E? Local pharmacy?

I could separate them, tho I have left them together as the Splashes little GF has lost her sister (best friend) and was really lonely and now this Splash having issues not being able to see, the little friend is helping her out kinda showing her where water/food is with eating/drinking.

The splash does eat alot and drink water fine, she gets her daily dose. All I was saying it is tough to get the almonds into her system because her friend beats her to it and she never even knew the almonds were there.
If I can find 400IU Vit. E and give her that daily that would solve that problem.

I would see if your pharmacy carries the vitamin e - it would be with other vitamins.

I will take a look! Also, should I get the softgels and just suck them out and feed it with a syringe, as the softgels might be too big to swallow for her?
Softgels are fine and usually not too big just to pop one inside the beak and let them swallow it, but if you feel that it is, then by all means you can prick the gel cap and squeeze the oil out.
