I saw my hen running around the backyard with a large toad dangling from her beak. She was being chased by her 3 sisters. They ended up tearing it apart and eating it!!!!! Gross!! I know that toads secrete a toxin on their skin and that if a dog tries to put it into his mouth, he foams and spits the toad out. Anyone out there know how the hens were able to eat that toad and not be affected by the toxins??? I know one thing, my hens are REALLY
raptors!!!!
