I just wondered how Cotton was doing?
My Betty (attacked by a dog about 15 days ago ) now seems to be doing very well. She had some deep wounds that needed suturing and lost pretty much all the feathers on her back save for one tail feather . However she went back in the roost with her one roostmate Margo and - although understandably nervous about coming out - is pecking and scratching around the garden and actually coming out to greet me. (Or rather the treats I have with me!). In the early days following the attack she ate very little and slept a great deal. Now she is still spending a lot of time in the coop with her broody pal but her feathers are coming back.
It sounds to me that you are doing everything you can for her and I hope she is back o full strength soon. Chickens are tough little critters!
