Can you post any pictures of her beak and injuries? What do you have for wound care? Saline, vetericyn spray, Hibiclens with water are all good, followed by plain Neosporin or Triple Antibiotic Ointment. If her beak is just chipped off, it may be painful, but could grow back. If it is broken off or fractured, she might not be able to eat. Try wetting some chicken feed with a lot of water in a tall sided container to see if she can get food. Keep dry food available as well.

Have you found where the possum got into the coop, and secrured the coop? I usually count heads in the evening when they go to roost. Sorry that she is injured. Hopefully, she didn’ have any internal injuries.

The comb wounds should heal eventually. Since she might have some symptoms of wry neck, you can use vitamin E 400 IU and 1/4 B complex for thiamine daily. Liver is also a good source of B vitamins, and sunflower kernels, crushed almonds and peanuts are good sources of E.

What is wry neck

Videos can be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo with a link posted here. Is the blood in her eye or around the eyelid? Vetericyn or similar wound spray, or plain saline can be used around eyes. I habe used plain Neosporin in eyes as well.
