She doesn't seem to mind fuzzy things, the shoes she goes for are all hard materials like leather or rubber. Great idea about letting her see them not moving. Hopefully if they don't move she will stop seeing them as a threat.
Take your shoes off and put them in front of her. She may attack them then realize that they are not dangerous and stop attacking them. Your hen also might not like the color pink. My rooster doesn't like blue, this year, though, he doesn't like pink, or maybe he doesn't like my fuzzy mittens. Is your shoes fuzzy? I do know chickens don't like new things. You said you walk around barefoot so your hen is used to that. I personally think it is a very good idea to wear shoes on on a farm. Good luck with your hen getting used to your shoes!![]()
