I felt like telling you guys about an awesome sale I go to every Friday night! It's in Barnesville Georgia! Woot!

Do any of you guys have chicken auctions you go to? I was thinking, instead of a lot of people asking for chicken auctions in diff states, we could just list them here. It would save space and time!

Here in Indiana there is an amish aucion house that sells everything you can think of. They have one room strictly for small animals and all kinds of poultry, turkeys, waterfowl, pheasants and just about any kind of bird you could want. This auction is every friday night in Cannlburg, ind. It starts at 6 PM and sometimes go on until midnight. They have as many as 6 auctioners going at once selling in 5 other rooms full of merchandise. Norman

I am not allowed to buy birds at local auctions, or I will lose my NPIP Certification. I cannot buy any untested birds period. I am very limited in who I can buy from.

There is one in Delaware (Wyoming, DE) but it is a hotbed for disease. I don't go there anymore, as I am not allowed to buy birds there (NPIP rules). They also sell other animals. Years ago I bought 2 young goats and they were dead in their crates the next morning. They looked fine when I bought them. Sad. I have seen rabbits drop dead in their cages right before the auctioneer got to them.
