My Barred Rock is the smartest & most adventurous/trusting of the 3. My RIR is the most timid but, oddly enough, the alpha!I have to say barred rocks and Rhode island reds are two of the friendliest breeds towards humans in my opinion i love em!

Thats great! Just make sure everything other than their commercial feed only takes up to 10% of their diet. So 25 chickens, for example, get 1/2 a cup of treats a day, so not a lot at all.Dried meal worms are my girls' favorite treat & I give them scratch in the morning with some fruit.
