Chicken barn

I never got around to posting pictures of my completed barn project (well 90% completed, I just have to finish the loft when I get around to it). The total dimensions are 20'x12'. The two coops on the sides are each 7'x12' and the center storage/isolation area is 5'x12'.

I kind of built it on the fly so I don't really have plans that I can share, but it is also pretty straight forward of a design.

That is very nice!...love it! But you might ought to add some furring strips on top of the edges of the hardware cloth to make it stronger.
That's a very nice setup for chickens, so much room...I'm sure they love it.

I held off on the furring strips for now because I'm leaning towards expanding it a bit and extending the roof 4 or 5 feet. I'm not too concerned with predators, they seem to avoid my land. Closest thing that I have to a predator is a baby hawk that I saved and taught to fly. But, he seems to be grateful for that because he'll bring me a snake every now and then and never goes near the chickens.

And, yea the chickens seem to love the set up that I gave them.

Lol. I got my hands full today but sure here's a couple pictures. That barred rock roo is my favorite. He's more like a working dog than a chicken, helps me herd the flock when I'm moving them around and they are resisting.

Looks awesome, nice to see so much ventilation and the central storage area must be so convenient for access without standing in the sun or rain.

No only the front and rear of the monitor. Instead there's a largish ventilation channel running along the peak of the roof along the sides.

Guess it's just for looks then, eh?
It does look cool and you really don't need the ventilation it would provide.
