mine go to bed about 1/2 hr before dark.. and they got o their specific cage or roost and put themselves to bed.. I do have 3 hens that like to tree hug and if I dont get down there and put them in a cage until dark the get too high in the tree for me to get down. I dont mind my roosters tree hugging.. ( we do have owls and I dont want my hens a late night snack for a big owl) most though like their own "beddies" no one goes into someone else area they all know where they belong. and if someone is in the wrong place Oh they let me know.. untill I move the interloper and regular bedtime order is taken up..
